Your plan & limits

Check your current plan, understand your limits, and what happens when you reach one.

Your plan decides how much room you have — how many characters you can keep, how many campaigns you can run, and how much custom content you can create. This guide shows you where to check your current plan and what happens when you reach a limit.

See your current plan

Open the account menu in the top-right and choose Billing & Subscription (or visit /billing). The page shows the plan you're on and its status. From here you can manage your subscription and, on paid plans, review your payment method and billing history.

Know your limits

Every tier sets a few caps. On the free tier that's:

  • Characters — up to 3 in your vault at once.
  • Campaigns you run — one campaign you GM (you can still join any number of campaigns as a player).
  • Custom content — a starter allowance for homebrew items, feats, and the like.

Paid tiers raise or remove these — see Choosing a plan for the full comparison.

When you reach a limit

RPG World never blocks you with a confusing error. If you try to go past a limit — say, creating a fourth character on the free tier — you'll see a friendly upgrade prompt explaining what's capped and how to get more room. You then have two easy options:

  • Upgrade your plan for more (or unlimited) room.
  • Free up space — delete or archive a character or campaign you're no longer using.
Downgrading later? Anything over your new plan's limit isn't deleted — it's safely archived and can be restored if you upgrade again.
